अगर आपको पहाड़, शांत माहौल और खूबसूरत नजारे पसंद हैं, तो लद्दाख ऐसी जगह है जहां एक बार जाने के बाद दोबारा जाने का मन कर सकता है. ऊंचे-ऊंचे पहाड़, साफ आसमान, नीली झीलें और दूर तक फैली सुनसान सड़कें लद्दाख को बाकी हिल स्टेशनों से अलग बनाती हैं. यही वजह है कि हर साल बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक यहां पहुंच रहे हैं.
लद्दाख में घूमने के लिए सिर्फ प्राकृतिक खूबसूरती ही नहीं है. यहां के पुराने बौद्ध मठ, पहाड़ी गांव और स्थानीय संस्कृति भी पर्यटकों को अपनी ओर खींचती है. लेह से लेकर नुब्रा घाटी और पैंगोंग झील तक, हर जगह का अपना अलग अनुभव है. युवाओं के बीच बाइक से लद्दाख घूमने का क्रेज भी काफी ज्यादा है.
लद्दाख में बढ़ रहा पर्यटकों का आंकड़ा
लद्दाख में बढ़ते पर्यटन का अंदाजा हाल के आंकड़ों से लगाया जा सकता है. जनवरी से अगस्त 2026 के बीच यहां 4.05 लाख पर्यटक पहुंचे. यह संख्या पूरे 2025 में आए 3.35 लाख पर्यटकों से भी ज्यादा है. वहीं जनवरी से अगस्त 2025 के 2.69 लाख पर्यटकों के मुकाबले इस साल इसी अवधि में करीब 50 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है. अगस्त 2026 में भी 74,753 पर्यटक लद्दाख पहुंचे, जबकि अगस्त 2025 में यह संख्या 45,201 थी.

The numbers reflect the phenomenal tourism surge:
1. In just 8 months of 2026, Ladakh has received 4.05 lakh visitors, surpassing the entire 2025 footfall of 3.35 lakh, by 20.61%.
2. Ladakh received 2.69 lakh tourists between January and August 2025, which rose to 4.05 lakh during January to August 2026, an increase of 50.37%.
3. Total tourist footfall of 45,201 in the month of August 2025, has increased to 74,753, in August 2026, a jump of 65.38%.
4. Ladakh received 25,082 foreign tourists from January – August 2025, which rose to 33,346 from January – August 2026, marking an increase of 32.95%
This year-on-year tourism growth is a testament to Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji’s vision for promoting domestic tourism and the Centre’s sustained push for infrastructure development, along with the tourism-friendly policy framework in Ladakh.
I reaffirm our commitment to building a sustainable, responsible, and year-round tourism economy in Ladakh. By promoting off-season festivals and events, we are creating sustained livelihood opportunities for our local youth, artisans, and homestays, while offering visitors a peaceful, less crowded, and affordable experience.
