Eric Roberts recently featured on the ‘Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson’ podcast and talked about his career and personal relationship. Talking about Emma, his daughter that he shares with ex-partner, Kelly Cunningham, he commented, “It’s only complicated through outside eyes.”The actor further commented that “they don’t get any of it. So, they have their own take, whatever that is. I’m so proud of my kid.” While the 69 year old talked about how they were doing good, he also added that there used to be a time when he was not someone that anyone could depend on. Talking about his substance abuse, he added, “I was a wash rag. I was not to be depended on emotionally whatsoever.”He also commented on the fact that he was a “car wreck” at one point in his life and he fully accepts responsibilties for his actions and mistakes at that time of his life. He also called “the loss of relationship with my daughter” as one of the toughest periods of his life and something that he will always regret. The ‘Dark Knight’ actor has been sober since 1995.
