I’m doing the best that I can to protect my family.”Atreides is then seen confiding in his mother, played by Rebecca Ferguson. He asks her, “How did Father do it?” She gives a stern reply, “Your father never started a war.”
Denis Villeneuve on returning to complete ‘Dune’ trilogy
Villeneuve unveiled the trailer at a special event, where he spoke about his decision to return and complete the trilogy. People quoted him saying, “When you make a series of movies, you are in a relationship with the audience. I felt a responsibility to finish the story… I was supposed to do another movie in the meantime, but the image of Dune: Part Three kept coming back, and I said, ‘All right, let’s do it’.”
‘Dune: Part Three’ plot and cast
The film follows Paul Atreides as he grapples with the consequences of his rise to power following the events of ‘Dune: Part Two’. Zendaya returns as Chani, a Fremen warrior and Paul’s partner, whose relationship is tested amid political tensions and a complex dynamic involving Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan, daughter of the former emperor Shaddam IV, previously portrayed by Christopher Walken.The ensemble cast also includes Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, Isaach De Bankolé and Charlotte Rampling, alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Pattinson. Newcomers to the franchise include Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke.
‘Dune: Part Three’ to clash with ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
‘Dune: Part Three’ is set to release in cinemas on 18 December, where it will clash with the Marvel superhero film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Having been filmed for IMAX presentation, the film is expected to secure an exclusive run in IMAX theatres, potentially giving it an advantage at the box office.
